PA12+CF is a eSUN self-developed material based on PA12, it added 15% carbon fiber, greatly enhance the strength, rigidity, toughness of nylon, and can be used in many applications instead of metal. PA12+CF has low water absorption rate, the size of the printed part is less affected by humidity and temperature. Self-lubrication and wear resistance making it suitable for printing gears. PA12+CF has high temperature resistance, helping it survived from the continuous use (temperature can reach 120℃) and short-term printing (temperature can reach 160℃). Low shrinkage rate, printing is not easy to warp edge and cracking, printing items surface matte fine.
Due to the inherent low moisture absorption and corrosion resistance of PA12, PA12+CF also maintains these properties.
Thanks to the excellent wear resistance and impact resistance of PA12, PA12+CF continues to deliver outstanding performance in these areas.
PA12+CF has a density of 1.07 g/cm³. For the same part size, it is 13% lighter than PLA carbon fiber composites and 25% lighter than PET carbon fiber composites.
PA12+CF has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 132°C, which is 32°C higher than that of PA12.
The flexural strength of PA12+CF is 27% higher than PA12, while its flexural modulus is 31% higher than PA12.
