Flexible materials are relatively soft and more prone to deforming at the extruder gears. You will need to lower the printing speed to reduce this extrusion deformation.
Flexible materials have poorer cooling performance, resulting in less effective overhangs and bridges. It is highly recommended to add supports for overhang and bridging areas.
We recommend using direct-drive printers for best results when printing with flexible materials.
TPU filament is highly hygroscopic and absorbs moisture easily. If it has been left unused for an extended period, we recommend drying it at 60°C for more than 8 hours before your next print.
Residue may build up in the nozzle during long print runs. We recommend using cleaning filament to clear the hotend, or replacing the nozzle and throat tube if necessary.
