PET-FR is a PET material with excellent flame retardant properties, compliant with the UL 94 V-0 standard, suitable for environments with temperatures above 100°C. It effectively prevents the spread of fire while offering high rigidity, heat resistance, and superior electrical insulation performance.
With a heat deflection temperature of up to 130°C after annealing, this material outperforms conventional engineering plastics. Certified to UL94 V-0, it self-extinguishes within 10 seconds after the ignition source is removed, effectively minimizing the risk of fire caused by molten dripping.
Flame-retardant PET features low moisture absorption, making it resistant to swelling and deformation when exposed to water. Inheriting PET's inherent chemical resistance, it offers excellent resistance to most acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, ensuring reliable performance in a wide range of environments.
High rigidity combined with excellent impact resistance delivers outstanding mechanical strength for demanding industrial applications.
